Local 3 represents thousands of employees within the City, County, Special Districts, Water Districts, Superior Courts and Police Officers units in Northern and Central California and throughout Northern Nevada. We represent thousands of Mid-Level Managers throughout the Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Monterey County area. The mission of the Public Employees Division is to provide these public-sector workers with professional labor representation and to organize new public employee units.

Local 3’s Public Employee members are uniquely positioned to push back against these attacks, thanks to the diversity of essential work they perform for their communities and the resources and support available to them, as part of the largest construction local in the U.S.
