Administrative Assistant/Clerk - Contracts Department
The Contracts Department seeks an Administrative Assistant/Clerk at the Concord Headquarters. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant to be considered for the position. Job qualifications include: high level of multitasking, strong writing and proofreading skills and a typing speed of at least 50 wpm.
Pursuant to the OPEIU Local 29 contract, applications will first be considered from current employees, then applications from OPEIU 29 referrals, then from other sources.

APPRENTICESHIP APPLICATION INFORMATION FOR OAHU RESIDENTS
Application Period: July 6 – 17, 2026
The application period for our apprenticeship program will be open exclusively to Oahu residents from July 6 – 17, 2026. Please note that applications will not be accepted prior to these dates.
We encourage you to review this information carefully and ensure all required documents are prepared in advance.
Eligibility Requirements:
Please refer to the “Requirements” tab to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria.
Required Documentation:
- A valid Hawaii Driver’s License with an Oahu address
- Completed high school transcripts (with graduation information), or GED/C-Based test transcripts confirming successful completion with your score. Diplomas will not be accepted.
For Big Island and Maui County residents, we will be accepting applications in 2027.
