Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in accounts payable and general ledger or equivalent combination of education and work experience; Bachelor’s degree highly desired. Must have detailed knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Word. Experience with SAGE 100 ERP Accounting Software a huge plus. 10-key adding machine by touch.

Ideal candidate must be well-organized, accurate, detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be highly motivated, self-starter, willing to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to multi-task and process large volume of invoices each month. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Job Opening: Human Resources Coordinator – Apprenticeship Training Centers (Multi-State)

The Human Resource Coordinator will lead and direct the routine functions of Human Resources (HR) including hiring and interviewing staff, and leaves of absences, and enforcing Training Center rules, standards, policies and practices. The HR Coordinator works in concert with the Training Center Director on education, trainings, discipline and termination in accordance with policy.

The HR Coordinator must be dedicated, flexible and adaptable with a willingness to commit to continual learning. As a leader and decision maker, The HR Coordinator must demonstrate common sense, diplomacy and strong interpersonal skills. As a liaison, excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are required – including a level of literacy capable of reading and interpreting documents.

Job Opening: Construction Equipment Operator (CEO) Instructor – Nevada

Apprenticeship Construction Equipment Operator (CEO) Instructor, travel required. Must have ability to teach earth moving equipment (i.e. Loader, Dozer, Scraper, Backhoe, Forklift, Gradesetting, etc.). Minimum 50 hours per week (7am-5pm Tuesday thru Saturday) late nights are mandatory. Minimum 10 years journey-level experience in a branch of the Operating Engineers. General knowledge of the construction industry required.

Supervisory experience a plus.
