Operating Engineers Local 3 represents the hard-working people who mine and process the rock and other essential building and construction materials that our homes, schools, hospitals, businesses, government buildings and roads require. In addition to this, the union continues to represent the operators and mechanics who have made the mining of precious metals possible in the American West since 1965.
