Rally in Richmond, Nov. 5 date cancelled…stay tuned for updates on new date!

Protect Richmond Jobs

The rally scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 5 has been postponed. The Richmond Mayor got wind of our plans and cancelled the council meeting for that night. Stay tuned for the new date coming soon.

We rallied before, and we must rally again. In July, we gathered with hundreds in support of our brothers and sisters working at the Levin-Richmond Terminal before the Richmond Planning Commission. The action led the commission to vote unanimously to protect our jobs for awhile. Now we need to rally again and tell the Richmond City Council to join the Planning Commission and get all the facts first before deciding to sacrifice the jobs of safe, skilled workers. Out-of-town activists need to perform their due diligence before messing with our local jobs!

Tell the City Council to get the facts first. Visit ProtectRichmondJobs.com. Stay tuned for an update on the date and time of the next rally!
