State Unit 12
Local 3 represents about 3,000 Unit 12 members in 14 different departments and in 46 different classifications. Local 3 is one of four locals within the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) – Local 3 and Local 39 are in northern California; Local 12 and Local 501 are in southern California. We are working in unison for a decent contract.
