Public often misinformed about unions' value
We know unions are the key to a thriving middle class. However, the general public is still learning this fact, and they are learning it much slower thanks to the media's narrow representation of this important backbone of society.
In President Fred Herschbach's November column, he refers to an informative article in The Sacramento Bee, written by California Labor Federation Executive-Secretary Treasurer Art Pulaski and brought to his attention by a Local 3 member. This article addresses how unions are essential to our country's success and why they have been in a constant decline.
