Member’s smart editorial applauds High-Speed Rail
What does activism in your union get you? A voice.
Just ask 27-year member Stephen Breacain, whose informed response to an anti-High-Speed-Rail editorial in the Manteca Bulletin was published on Jan. 24.
In his Letter to the Editor, Breacain explains: “Yes, a world class, safe, comfortable, environmentally sustainable alternative to automobile or air travel will be expensive to build, but going into the 21st century with no plan to meet the state’s mobility demands is not an option in my opinion.”
We agree with his opinion and you should too!
