Adult immunizations

The Operating Engineers Health & Welfare Trust Fund and Pensioned Operating Engineers Health & Welfare Trust Fund comprehensive plans include coverage for adult immunizations, such as vaccines for hepatitis, influenza, pneumonia and herpes zoster. For participants and spouses on Schedule I of the Pensioned Health & Welfare Comprehensive Plan, the plan will pay 80 percent of the negotiated contract rate for contract providers or 80 percent of covered expenses for non-contract providers. Benefits are payable at 90 percent of the negotiated rate for contract providers and 80 percent of the usual, customary and reasonable charges for non-contract providers for participants and spouses on the Operating Engineers Health & Welfare Trust Fund Comprehensive Plan. Thanks for joining us at the Retiree Picnic

It was nice to see such a good turnout of retirees and spouses at this year’s June 7 Retiree Picnic at Rancho Murieta. The mood was upbeat, the food delicious and the bingo game spirited. I have to say we heard some old war stories that were slightly embellished from last year! We thank you for coming and enjoying the day. Business Manager Russ Burns, the officers and staff wish to thank you and commend you on your many years of service, especially our 50-year member honorees. Many thanks to Director of Apprenticeship Tammy Castillo, Director of Training John Teller and the staff at Rancho Murieta. A special thanks to Shop Maintenance’s Gary Herren, Kitchen Manager Red Herrera and the entire kitchen staff for their good work.
